Last month, sophomores in the College and Business & Technology, had the opportunity to virtually engage with members of the campus recruiting team at JP Morgan Chase. Students were informed on the importance of applying early for Wall Street Summer Analyst programs for 2021 specifically in Wealth & Asset Management. Students learned application best practices as well as tips for standing out in the application process and the importance of proactively networking and preparing for interviews.
Dale Potts as Associate at JP Morgan, and former summer intern, discussed with the group that your resume is Step one and the importance of checking it multiple times for spelling and grammatical errors as an error on your resume is the #1 mistake you can make. She went on to talk about the components of the interview and do’s and don’ts needed to land the job. “Have your elevator pitch ready and always have a question, it shows you’re enthusiastic”.
