The Center for Career & Professional Development, Women in Business Network, & the Welch Experience was delighted to host a Women in Leadership Series event featuring Jen Rogers and Lori Jung, Co-Founders of Hudson West on Tuesday evening, November 4, 2024. The event was moderated by Paige Zutaut and Teagan Murray, co-presidents of the Women in Business Network in partnership with Sheila Lillis from the Center for Career and Professional Development, with 21 club members attending the event.
Jen and Lori shared their career journey insights from starting as junior publicists to becoming trailblazers and successfully leading their PR firm.
They shared stories from their illustrious careers in broadcasting and public relations prior to launching their full-service public relations, branding, and marketing firm in 2012.
Key takeaways from the event were to always take initiative, embrace a self-starter orientation, remain curious and adaptable, hone excellent writing skills and to be sure to always communicate effectively.
