Law/Legal Support internship role
This role will support our strategic plan to add supportive law services in support of the BIPOC community. Additionally, these services are designed to support our “Help them get out safely” initiative for Black men. This internship will give law students exposure to varied law fields by conducting law-related assignments. Students will be exposed to a broad range of legal work that will allow them to gain valuable public interest law experience. Assignments may include, but not be limited to, the following:
- Writing memoranda, and building relationships with lawyers in the fields of environmental law, civil law, estate, immigration law, real estate, juvenile and business, environmental and non-profit, and cannabis, cannabis, and IP law.
- An opportunity to interview clients, and conduct general legal research
assignments, and plan events with law partners. - In their assigned bureau/office, students will interact regularly with attorneys who are working on innovative and impactful
