The Sacred Heart chapter of To Write Love on Her Arms is in support of the nonprofit movement dedicated to presenting hope and finding help for people struggling with depression, addiction, self-injury, and suicide. The goal of TWLOHA is to inform the campus about the serious effects of depression, addiction, self-injury, and suicide, while offering a safe place for students to discuss these personal topics.
A chapter of the To Write Love on her Arms non profit organization based in Florida, this club aims to educate students and teachers of Sacred Heart about various forms of mental illness, as well as the importance of self care. As a club, we want to call attention to the stigma of mental illness to better inform our teachers and students, and provide hope and support to those who may be struggling on campus. We also host events to raise money for our larger organization in Florida.
