Job Summary
Analyze, assess, and identify organizational training gaps to include knowledge and skill gaps across all levels of staff. Design and develop training courses for e-learning and in-person format for a variety of topics such as leadership, communication, conflict resolution, team building, and other soft skills. Engages in creating learning and development curriculum, leadership development programs, and instructional behavior-based development across multiple audiences creating consistent practices for design and establishing methods for delivery to support successful business goals. Works with colleagues to support organization wide initiatives, carry out the Talent Development & Learning strategy, and assess opportunities for continued growth and development of leaders, employees, and teams. Utilizes current Countywide and/or department specific software to complete assignments.
Minimum Qualifications

REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
1. Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Training & Development, Human Resource Development, Instructional Design, or closely related field of study.
2. Have had at least three (3) years of full-time work experience in corporate training, instructional design, including curriculum planning, conducting skilled facilitation to include organizational leadership, organizational gap analysis, and survey and trend analysis.
NOTE: A Master’s degree in Training and Development, Human Resources Administration, Instructional Design, or a closely related field of study may be substituted for two (2) years of the work experience described above.
