The Student Events Team plans, works, and runs on campus activities and events for Sacred Heart University students. The Student Events Team is an organization that brings the community together to give them opportunities of engagement, leadership, and enhance their college experience. The board consists of thirteen members who run their corresponding committee. General members are invited to join as many committees as they are interested in.
The Student Events Team’s committees are as follows:
Advertising, Annual Events, Entertainment, Member Outreach, Novelty Events, Theme, Weekend Events
Each committee is represented by an appointed chair member. Annual events consist of Fall Fest and Spring Fest. Each festival presents novelty giveaways, food trucks, live music, inflatables and entertainment. Novelty events range from tie dye, bingo, stuff-a-bear, inflatables, DIY, and many more. Weekend Events consist of big and new experiences for students to partake in every Saturday and Sunday.
Entertainment has come in the forms of magicians, comedians, dancers, hypnotists, movies, and musical acts. Theme conducts an annual Harvest Week, Winter Week, Spring Break Week, and other various themed weeks.
